The Corner Pantry Cafe

It was a good little find tucked away in the back streets. Busy for its location so clearly has a good local clientele. Locals were chatty and friendly.

The best coffee, most delicious food and excellent service! (Manager Chris is beyond amazing) Second to none. We love The Corner Pantry!

Fantastic little cafe! Good coffee, great food. Awesome spot to sit outside with the dog and enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat. Have been on holidays in the area for 2 weeks and have been frequenting here for that time. Highly recommend.

Very busy. Because of the weather, you couldn't sit outside. We waited for a table. The staff made sure we didn't miss out. First time there. It was my type of scene.

Little hidden oasis - the staff were extremely kind and helpful; the food was divine and served in a timely manner. Highly recommended and will certainly come again!

After only moving to the area last week, we were on the hunt for a new cafe to visit and The Corner Pantry, being the closest, was the first one we visited. Being a Mum with long days at home with 2 kids, an outing in a new area, to a new place can be really daunting but within minutes we were made to feel so welcome at The Corner Pantry. My pram wasn’t a problem, my loud and excitable toddler wasn’t a problem and taking up the last table (8 seater) when we were only ordering a coffee and a babychino, wasn’t a problem. Maria was so kind, thoughtful and accommodating. She introduced herself to myself and my toddler, she gave me a cloth to wipe his chocolate-powder-covered face and she engaged beautifully with my littlest love despite being busy with the demands of a bustling cafe. How lucky are we, to call this our local. We will absolutely be back as a family and ensure we bring our families along too! A beautiful place to be.

I’ve eaten at this place twice in the last two weeks on a visit to Mt Eliza. We went back to the second time, because we enjoyed the first time so much. The food is really good, the atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff and are impeccable. they are kind and attentive, and look you in the eye and welcome you when you arrive and say goodbye cheerfully when you leave. Even though you’re interactions with them are minor because you order at the counter I would still give this place a 5+ stars for the service. It’s relative easy to produce good food in a nice place, but to create a welcoming atmosphere that people want to return to is a little trickier. The people here got it right.
